We see two areas of excessive rainfall. One
associated with the approaching cold front just west of Orange County and a rapidly developing coastal low just east of Orange County.
Based on what we see, we are certain bands of heavy rain will produce 3 inches of rain in certain areas.

FACTS:

We have a intensifying low pressure system approaching this area off the coast from the Mid Atlantic states that will merge with tropical moisture. This will produce heavy rain in embedded thunderstorms. We do not see any severe thunderstorms.
Rainfall totals 1-3″. Frequent wind gusts 25-30 mph with a few isolated gusts up to 40 mph, with the strongest winds in the evening and overnight. Winds close to 55 mph will impact the coast.
Flooding concerns will be along small creeks and urban areas during the heaviest bands of rainfall, but widespread flooding will not occur. Rain starts Sunday into Sunday night. Conditions will improve Monday.
